Luke 17:11-19
The mind-boggling part of Jesus’s encounter with ten lepers isn’t that only one them returned to thank Jesus. It’s that Jesus knew only one of them would return! He provided their complete restoration without factoring in whether that help would be appreciated. That’s just who he is: the merciful Lord of glory. And the one who returned to Jesus gave the only proper response to mercy—grateful worship!
