1 Corinthians 8, 10:23-11:1

Tuesday Americans will cast their votes for a slate of public servants and ballot issues. All over the nation, citizens will be urged to “vote your conscience.” What is the conscience? Is your conscience infallible? What if it is too insensitive? What if it is oversensitive? What happens when our consciences disagree? How does Christ want us to preserve unity in His kingdom when we differ over matters of conscience? The Apostle Paul addresses these questions in his writings. We’ll learn what Scripture teaches about the conscience—what it is, how to calibrate it, and how to display love to those who differ.
