Luke 1:46-55
The 4th Sunday of Advent centers around the theme of God’s boundless love. As an exemplar of faith for the ages, Mary understood this love. In fact, it compelled her to write a song! We will look at Mary’s song of praise, also known as “The Magnificat.” In this song, Mary expresses the reasons why her soul cannot help but magnify the Lord. God is merciful to the lowly and humble, and His past faithfulness assures us of a glorious future.
