Driven to Reach Excellence & Academic Achievement for Males (DREAAM)

DREAAM’s mission to reduce the achievement and opportunity gaps among boys and young men ages 3 to 24 by building a seamless pipeline of hope to disrupt the “school to prison” pipeline and to increase life opportunities. DREAAM now prioritizes the whole family with radical hope for the future by providing in-person services to increase remote learning outcomes, social emotional health, and parental involvement.

Good News Boys Home

way from the city, our 145-acre Boys Home offers real hope for troubled, inner-city teen boys. Many of them have been in and out of juvenile facilities or have become too hardened for their families to handle. The program is a 9-month residential Academy that motivates the students to personal and academic excellence, where the love of Christ is shared with them on a daily basis. In addition to moving toward a Core 40 diploma, each student learns valuable skilled trades and receives one-on-one spiritual training throughout the year. Specialized courses and vocational training are offered to engage the young men in concepts of life planning and career choices. Full scholarships are offered to selected students in this effort to produce godly young men.

With the incredible influence of coaches in our culture, they recognize the most strategic way to reach more athletes for Christ is to first reach the coach. They seek to engage, equip, and empower coaches to know Christ and to make Him known!

Our mission is to serve the growing number of international students and staff at UIUC, which now has one of the largest international student populations in the nation, with one in four attendees coming here from other nations. Many of them bring their families with them. It is amazing to have this huge global gathering right here in the midst of the corn and soybean fields of East Central Illinois! As we expand IFI’s presence here at UIUC, we hope to see the Body of Christ coming together in increased unity as a team in response to Christ’s commission to go into all the world – one that is being brought right into our very midst.

We;re a ministry that provides students with a “home away from home” on campus and the opportunity to learn about Jesus and what it means to follow Him. We provide space where people from different cultures can build real relationships with each other and grow in love for God, His word, His people, and His purposes in the world. We hope to be a blessing not only to each other, but also to the international student population at the University of Illinois and the campus as a whole.

Our mission is to create and develop within the corporate limits of the community, a Godly ministry to the homeless, near homeless, and displaced, where love, respect and dignity can be maintained in the name of Lord Jesus Christ; to provide temporary and permanent resident dwellings, and to teach Godly principles to help each person gain vision and learn how to reach his/her goals. Our goal is to give all that participate an understanding of God’s love, and an invitation to accept it.
