We want to share God’s love with others within WRCC and out in our community. Volunteering is one of the best ways to connect with others and make a real impact toward our vision of becoming a life-changing community, passionately pursuing Christ. Below are the different opportunities available in Outreach Ministry, please note that some require registration.
ONGOING OPPORTUNITIES
Food Pantry Donations
Our Food Pantry continues to be a blessing to our community, and you can play an ongoing role in this vital ministry. We accept donations M-Th 9am-4pm and on Sunday mornings.
Suggested donations: gluten-free & dairy-free products, low-salt & no-salt products, baby formula, diapers, personal hygiene products, and household cleaning products.
Tuesday Food Pantry Organization
1st, 3rd, 5th Tuesdays | 5-6pm | Audience: Everyone
For our Food Pantry ministry to run smoothly, we need dedicated volunteers to prepare and organize both the shopping and storage areas that we use each week. We’d love for you to stop by and get involved, even if it’s not for the full hour.

Eastern IL Foodbank Delivery
1st & 3rd Thursdays | 11am | Audience: Adults
We receive hundreds of pounds of food twice a month and need helping hands to handle the
deliveries. If you can lift and carry boxes, or help organize shelves, please consider pitching in!
Serve at Thursday Community Shopping Hours
Thursdays | 2:30-6:30pm | Audience: Everyone
Our Food Pantry is open to shoppers from our congregation & community each Thursday from 4-6pm, please consider serving during one of these shifts:
2:30-3:30pm – restock, organize, set-up
3:30-5pm – assist shoppers
5-6:30pm – assist shoppers, clean-up
Serve at Saturday Community Shopping Hours
1st Saturdays | 11am-3pm | Audience: Everyone
Visitors will have an opportunity to select items from our food pantry from 12-2pm, please consider serving during one of two shifts:
11am-1pm – prayer, set-up, assist shoppers
1-3pm – assist shoppers, clean-up, prayer
