Jonah 3
The greatest miracle in the book of Jonah wasn’t Jonah being swallowed by a fish, but that Nineveh—this exceedingly evil city—wasn’t swallowed by God’s wrath. In this passage, we witness the “reckless, raging fury that they call the love of God.” Jonah preaches in Nineveh; Nineveh turns to God; and God spares Nineveh. This message is about the power of God’s Word to INFLUENCE our lives. It’s also about the courage to take God’s Word to the most unlikely converts! Who have you written off that God wants saved?
