Mark 12:28-34
These verses include what Jesus refers to as the greatest commandment. The main point is clear: Love God with your entire being, and love your neighbor as yourself. One helpful framework for living this out is what some have called the three “orthos” — or things we need to get “right.” Loving God with our minds, through our Christian ethics/works, and with our hearts. How are you doing in each of these areas? Are there certain aspects of your faith formation that need attention? With God’s help, may our total disposition be transformed into the likeness of Christ!
